We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account data is retained for the duration of your active account plus 90 days following deletion.

1. Digital Services — Non-Refundable

All purchases on SetApp are digital services that are activated instantly upon purchase. Due to the immediate digital nature of these products:

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium Pass subscription at any time through account settings. Upon cancellation:

• Your premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period
• No further charges will be made after cancellation
• Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle

3. Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional cases, SetApp may consider a refund request if a payment was made due to a verified technical error, duplicate charge, or unauthorized purchase reported within 48 hours. Submit to support@setapp.in within 7 days of the transaction.

4. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

5. Chargebacks

Filing a fraudulent chargeback without contacting support first may result in account suspension. Contact support@setapp.in first to resolve billing concerns.

By using SetApp, you agree to the following content standards for all user-generated content including voice conversations, profile information, display names, and bios.

1. Prohibited Content

Users are strictly prohibited from sharing content that is:

• Offensive or Hateful: Promoting discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
• Defamatory: False statements damaging another person's reputation
• Sexually Explicit: Pornographic, obscene, or sexually suggestive material
• Violent or Threatening: Content encouraging violence, self-harm, terrorism, or threats
• Misleading or Fraudulent: Impersonation, phishing, or deliberately false information
• Illegal: Violating any applicable laws, including unauthorized copyrighted material
• Spam or MLM: Unsolicited advertising, chain letters, or pyramid schemes
• Child Safety: Any content involving exploitation or endangerment of minors

2. Content Moderation

SetApp uses AI-powered filters and human review teams. We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or permanently ban violating accounts, and report illegal activity to law enforcement.

3. Reporting Violations

Use the in-app "Report" feature or email safety@setapp.in. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of your content but grant SetApp a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display it within the platform for service operation.

1. How to Delete Your Account

• In-App: Settings → Account → Delete Account
• Email: Send request to privacy@setapp.in with subject "Account Deletion Request"

2. What Happens When You Delete

• Profile data removed from public visibility within 24 hours
• Remaining Coins and Premium benefits are forfeited (non-refundable)
• Conversation history deleted within 30 days
• Active subscriptions automatically cancelled

3. Data Retained After Deletion

• Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years (Indian financial regulations)
• Safety Data: Moderation records retained up to 3 years
• Anonymized Analytics: De-identified data retained indefinitely

4. Account Recovery

14-day grace period — contact support@setapp.in to reverse deletion. After the grace period, deletion is irreversible.
